Calonge - (Approx distance from Villa - 1km)

With its medieval castle, the church of Sant Martí and the Carrier de Càcul, Calonge offers both history and culture. Sant Antoni De Calonge - (Approx distance from Villa - 3km)

Sant Antoni De Calonge has some of the finest beaches and coves on this coastline. No visit to this area could be complete without visiting the coves that run along the Camí de Ronda. The coves continue as far as the town of Platja d' Aro. A walk through this area is highly recommended to discover the beauty of the coves, each one having some special feature that cannot fail to please. top

Platja d'Aro - (Approx distance from Villa - 7km)

The cosmopolitan resort of Platja D'aro, is developed around a fantastic golden sandy beach - one of Costa Brava's finest. The promenade is lined with bars and restaurants, while the attractive centre has adopted a more traditional stance, with narrow red bricked streets, and white tiled pavements. With breathtaking views of the surrounding Catalonian coastline, Platja D'aro has an enviable spot on the Mediterranean shores and is an elegant resort with a large beach and string of secluded bays. A small, but lively town, there is plenty to keep you here with a selection of colourful cafés, traditional Catalan restaurants, international eateries and a sprinkling of quaint shops to browse. top

The ancient market town of Palamos is still an active local fishing port, where fresh fish is sold daily from the traditional boats. It also benefits from a marina, where large cruisers can regularly be seen harboured. top

Sant Feliu de Guixols - (Approx distance from Villa - 11km)

Sant Feliu de Guixols is an eminently Mediterranean town surrounded by hills with woods of pine and holm oak. It is a town with a rich cultural, historical and architectural heritage. An outstanding example of this is the architectural complex of the Monastery, built in 1723. top

La Bisbal is a medieval market town in an attractive river setting. Since the seventeenth century La Bisbal has specialised in the production of ceramics, and pottery shops line the main road through town, where - with a bit of browsing - you can pick up some terrific local pieces. top

Girona - (Approx distance from Villa - 40km)

Don't make the mistake of thinking that Girona is just the city you fly to, you'll be missing out! More than a thousand years of history watch over this small, harmonious city, which has managed to preserve the legacy of all the eras that have left their mark. The most notable attractions include the Jewish quarter, the cathedral - a singular example of Gothic architecture, its museum with the Creation Tapestry and the Beatus, the wall enclosing the old quarter, and the recently inaugurated Cinema Museum, the only one of its kind in Europe. top

One of the most exiting and vibrant city's in the world is just a 1hr 15min train journey away.
